We're looking for an organized, creative and professional sales & marketing intern for a busy sales position in the boating industry. Some boating knowledge is helpful but your can-do attitude and sales abilities are more important. You will work with the public and helping them create and book customized yacht charters on San Francisco Bay and performing all duties associated with creating a great experience. The other major component is marketing and sales of yacht charters, boating clubs and fleet building. Daily duties vary and include closing sales leads, regualr contact with booking partners, outreach to develop new sources of business, partnering with local hotels, tour companies, and businesses to promote and sell services. Admin tasks include booking charters to incoming leads, organizing captains and crew for charters, monthly email newsletters, social media postings and other marketing-business development tasks.

The work schedule varies each week as charter schedule various and weekend days are a must (about three weekend days a month). Training in Pt. Richmond office then full time in Jack London office in Oakland.

Stipend: $2,000-$2,500/month
