A cycling fitness company in New York City is seeking interns to join a growing sales team. Interns will work directly with the VP of Sales to help develop new leads, negotiate deals, and nurture client relationships.

Job Skills:

  • Customer Service: Ability to speak in a friendly way to customers and potential customers, listening to their needs and presenting options for them.
  • Communication Skills: You will need to speak to customers about different products and product features, while answer any questions they might have.
  • Flexibility: Being open to working long hours, nights or weekends.
  • Persistence: Not every opportunity turns into a sale. Possessing the ability to rally if you lose a sale will be key for this job.

Requirements:

  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills 
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience or studying marketing / PR/ business management / hospitality fields

Duration: 12 months

Stipend: $2,400 per month
