Position Functions and Responsibilities
- Conduct primary (qualitative and quantitative) research projects and efficiently deliver creative, customer and market-based input on strategic and tactical business questions.
- Synthesize data from multiple sources, develop realistic, insightful and actionable recommendations, and present the data/recommendations in a coherent, meaningful way.
- Conduct live, on the call and in person interviews with various respondent types (physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and other stakeholders including managed care professionals, pharmacy benefit managers, etc.).
- Design and execute standard research methodologies with moderate supervision, partnering with access and payer marketing team members and outside vendors to customize research design and methodologies where appropriate.
- Effectively prioritize assignments in line with business priorities.
- Work closely with the internal cross-functional teams and represents the Market Research function on key internal business teams and work streams.
Qualifications / Requirements
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Market Research, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics or equivalent required
- Pharmaceutical industry experience or previous market access consulting experience required
- 2+ years of relevant primary market research experience
- Experience in the key functional areas of market research, including design and analysis of primary market research and secondary data analysis required
- Strong project management experience optimizing productivity and project planning required
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems/data gathered from a variety of sources, and use the data to develop key recommendations
- Ability to effectively work in a matrix environment
- Excellent story-boarding and data churning/ computing abilities (superlative PowerPoint and Excel Skillsets)
- Strong communication, collaboration and project management skills; strong attention to detail
Duration: 12-18 months
Stipend: $60,000 per year
