The Business Development Associate is a full time position at our main office in Philadelphia, you will be working directly on revenue generating activities through lead generation and  relationship development. You are someone who has experience in sales, and is ready to apply it to a product that changes how impactful organizations operate and directly contributes to the world being a better place. You are excited about working at a start-up company where scrappiness and creativity are valued. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic for the vision, mission, and values of MilkCrate and eager to grow the company through their relationship building superpowers.

Responsibilities:  Work directly with business development team to assist on sales and marketing operations. Generate new leads, evaluate client opportunities, and work with potential customers to generate proposals that close.


  • 1-3 years of business development work at another company
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Collaborative thinker who values working with a diverse team


  • Base salary range of $30-40K based on experience plus commission
  • Profit sharing / stock available after trial period
  • Flexible work hours and some remote work time
  • Ability to learn more about tech industry and gain startup experience
  • Spring Arts office location, close to Center City (charming location and accessible via public transportation)
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Duration: 12 to 18 months
Stipend: $30,000 - $40,000 a year
